Purpose / General Description:

Point of contact to ensure all parts orders are entered, processed and tracked to ensure timely delivery to customers and field support team. Support technical service team by managing voicemail box and distributing to appropriate technical representative to provide exceptional customer support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming PO's for parts orders
  • Follow internal parts order process; including but not limited to setting up customer accounts, creating order ticket in CRM tool, tracking parts orders, following up with customers on order status, etc.
  • Answer questions, related to pricing, parts identification, and availability for customers via email and phone; field more complex calls to technical services representatives
  • Diligently retrieving messages from Technical voice mailboxes throughout the day and forward to the appropriate personnel.
  • Issue RMA's
  • Display at all times a courteous and responsible attitude towards work, colleagues and customers; promote and enhance the image and profitability of Boon Edam
  • Carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested by the relevant line management to ensure the smooth running of your office/dept.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years administrative experience
  • Experience with CRM tool a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook skills
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  • Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system
  • Customer service oriented
