Purpose / General Description:


Responsible for the processes and systems related to servicing customers and support of sales staff. Directs the delivery of administrative and operational assistance designed to promote revenue growth, productivity, and exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Provides team members with the appropriate training, tools, direction and motivation to enable their success.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Advocate for the customer and key point of contact for the distributors and outside sales team
  • Train employees on processes, systems, products and people to ensure excellent customer service
  • Accomplishes customer service human resource objectives by selecting, onboarding and coaching new employees
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Develop and implement best practices, training programs, customer service policies and procedures to support all team and departmental objectives
  • Establish metrics and report to senior leadership on metric results, opportunities, customer service trends and potential threats
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline
  • 2 years solid management and coaching skills. Experience managing at least 8 front line reports
  • 2 years' experience in the following areas: customer service, inside sales and project coordination
  • Strong communication skills in the following areas: active listening, verbal and written communication presentation, and phone etiquette
  • Must hold a current U.S driver license and be capable of obtaining a US passport for international travel
